Spam Filter Issue Resolved at 10 am Today

Issue resolved: Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at approximately 10 am
Summary: For the duration of this issue, a small number of applications submitted by students received a null spam score; in addition, the spam filter utility incorrectly pulled older applications from the submitted applications history and displayed these as 0% fraud scores.
Resolution: The update to the spam filter was rolled back, and the root cause was determined.
Guidance:
- The apply Admin spam filter utility should no longer display older applications with a fraud score of 0%. If your staff are still seeing these, please submit a staff support ticket: staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com
- A small number of student applications submitted between 5:30 pm on 12/5/23 and 10 am on 12/6/23 resulted in a null fraud score and were delivered to colleges. Should you wish to reprocess these applications so that they receive a correct fraud score, you must delete the existing applications from your SuperGlue staging tables, and then provide a list of these applications to the staff support team, who can reprocess them through the spam filter: staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com
