Over the past 24 hours, students and staff have reported errors encountered by students when they create or sign in to their OpenCCC student accounts. We have located the root cause of this issue, which is due to a constraint on the number of IP addresses available in the Apply Production Virtual Private Cloud. We have implemented a temporary fix to address this issue, and CCCApply is working as expected.
The permanent solution requires a short maintenance downtime targeted for Wednesday or Thursday after business hours (starting at approximately 5 pm).
We will continue to post updates here as we progress closer to deploying the permanent fix for this issue. In the meantime, the CCCApply operations team is closely monitoring the system resources available to ensure that CCCApply is available to students.
